Overview

Day 5 introduces the concept of symbolism. Symbolism is when the nature of one thing reflects truths about another thing. God has communicated many spiritual realities about Himself by using "symbols" in creation and in the Bible. On Day 5 families will learn about 2 such symbols that Jesus himself gave us, to help us better understand the Gospel: baptism and communion. Many people around the world practice baptism and communion without realizing the spiritual realities they communicate. Hopefully by the end of Day 5, families will better understand and appreciate these realities.
